Prospective Conservative MP backs manifesto of cancer research charity
Anne-Marie Trevelyan has signed up to Cancer Research UK’s Cancer Commitment. Anne-Marie is supporting the charity’s vision of making the UK’s cancer outcomes among the best in Europe in the next ten years.
Anne-Marie said, “Supporting the NHS will be the top priority for a new Conservative Government, and improving cancer outcomes will be among the greatest challenges facing the NHS in coming years.
“Cancer Research UK have set out five fronts on which we need action; cancers must be diagnosed and treated earlier; patients must have timely access to world class treatments; more must be done to prevent cancer; cancer inequalities must be tackled; and our position at the forefront of medical research must be protected. I am very pleased to support these ambitions.”
